In order to improve audience comfort and safety, the ONF (Forest National Office in France) has undertaken a wide project to develop the location . The objective is to allow the greeting of people with reduced mobility, visually disabled, seniors,or families with young children. This project also makes room for the development of the richness of the forest environment with the creation of an educational trail adapted to people with reduced mobility and the visually impaired. In order to fix the wooden footbridge, the ONF has used for the first time an innovative technique: the "techno-piles". They can be fixed without damaging the environment (small hole in the ground, small construction equipment) and do not require concrete or scrap metal. Moreover, these piles can easily be removed from the ground and their installation is fast.
